About the GMTC

The GMTC is the trade association for British manufacturers of electrical cable glands and accessories. Originally called the Gland Manufacturers Technical Committee, the GMTC was founded in 1975, and its aims are:

to have the maximum representation on British and European standards committees related to cable glands;
to ensure the safe design and manufacture of cable glands;
to be at the forefront of the knowledge about the use and installation of cable glands.

Between them, the GMTC members produce what is probably the world’s best range of hazardous area and industrial cable glands and accessories in metallic or non-metallic materials.

GMTC members’ products are only available from GMTC members or their official distributors. Beware of impostors!
